Senior Accountant

Location: Manchester, NH

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | On-site

Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team in Manchester, NH. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting core accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting leadership with reliable financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post complex journal entries
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Reconcile balance sheet and selected income statement accounts
• Maintain general ledger integrity in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation
• Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies
• Support process improvements and accounting best practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, or similar)
• CPA or CPA-track preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
